During the months of October to April each of our teams learn a routine which is choreographed by their trainer to music. In compliance with the competition rules, each routine has to be a certain length of time, as follows:
Tinies - 10-12 minutes
Juniors - 12-15 minutes
Seniors - 15-18 minutes
Learning the routine can take 4-6 months. It then has to be practiced and practiced and practiced in order to score as many points at competitions as possible.
To encourage and motivate our members, we have our own scoring system at Silsden All Stars, which we use to give awards to those who work hardest and are most committed. Members are scored out of twenty points at each practice session for their effort, attitude and behaviour.
